Step 1: Install
Open the download and drag Smooth Recorder into Applications, then open it.

Step 2: Allow recording
When macOS asks, turn on Screen & System Audio Recording. Camera and Microphone only if you’ll use them.

Step 4: Press ⌥1
Pick an area, a window or the whole screen, then choose what to make: a screenshot, a recording, a GIF, a scrolling capture or copied text.
